Biographical Statement

 Dr. Steve Graham, Warner Professor in Leadership and Innovationat Arizona State University, is widely recognized as a consummate researcher who focuses on writing and reading processes and instruction for both typically developing students and students with special needs. 

Steve has published over 300 works, including articles in prominent outlets such as Reading Research Quarterly and Reading and Writing. Steve’s national/international service is extensive—often at the forefront of promoting literacy reform efforts. Among many service accomplishments, Steve has been a literacy consultant/panelist for a variety of organizations, including UNESCO, the National Institute of Health, and the National Writing Project. He is former editor of four journals including the Journal of Writing Researchand current editor of the Journal of Educational Psychology. 

Notable recognitions of an impactful career include the prestigious American Educational Research Association Fellow status and Fellow status at the International Academy for Learning Disabilities Research.
